How does The Feed Tray work?
What if the wind blows The Feed Tray out?
The design prevents this from happening. Its design allows it to sit inside any 8-quart feed bucket. This prevents wind from getting under the tray, so it won’t be blow out.
Does it attach to my bucket?
The Feed Tray does not “attach” to the bucket. That is not necessary for it to function the way it intended. If you want the attachment to your bucket, there is a modification you can do. You can do this by drilling two small holes in the lip of the tray. Run a wire from the first hole, under the bucket, then through the 2nd hole.
When do I begin using The Feed Tray and for how long?
The Feed Tray design allows you to use it at day 1 of a calf’s life, with a handful of grain, along with fresh water. Use it for at least 1 week to train the calf. Some customers have used it longer with great results.
What kind of material is made from?
The Feed Tray is made of high density polyethylene. This compares to a regular 5 gallon bucket. The material is very durable! You should be able to reuse it many times.
Does it come in other colors?
At this time, The Feed Tray only comes in red. The color plays no role in aiding the calf in seeing the grain. The sight and smell of the actual grain is what entices them to consume it.
Where is it made?
The Feed Tray is proudly made United States. It was designed and is produced in the U.S. with only the best materials available.
